Financial Assistance

It is the policy of the YMCA of Lafayette to provide services for any youth who desires to participate. This policy is designed to ensure that the YMCA services are accessible to all youth of the community and that no one is excluded because of inability to pay. While participants are expected to pay their fair share of operating costs, those not able to pay the full fee may be awarded full or partial assistance based on their demonstrated ability to fund the subsidy, and space available. Financial Assistance Application packets may be obtained at the YMCA office.

Membership

Youth memberships are available for $35.00 per child. Family memberships are available for $75.00 per family. Membership entitles you to lower program rates, advance program notice, and many Y's across the country will honor your membership at little or no extra fee when you are traveling. Membership is valid for one full year.

Additional Information

Have you ever wondered how your dues are used at the YMCA? Your dues are used directly for the administration and operation of the YMCA and for scholarships and financial assistance for youth who cannot afford the full cost of programs. As a member, you help to meet our mission, but you also allow us to give hope and happiness to those who might not be so fortunate. If you would like to make an additional contribution, please contact the Y office.
